Eaglekin Podcast Spectacular
Jan. 07 2010
Eaglekin, the band I play drums in with fellow programs Gabe Blair and Eric Vivian, was featured earlier this week in a goofy little podcast, which can be heard and downloaded right here: Eaglekin Podcaster Assemblage. A little outfit out of San Francisco known as Stage 4 Alternative aired the podcast. Two songs were featured along with a bit of band history, album artwork facts, and...er...band trivia? Ha.

Seen but not seen
Dec. 28 2009
In a valley diminished and hidden from human sight. Long are the days and the beams become visible within the short hours. This new piece below, titled "Incidental Panoramic" pays homage to this hidden place where I had once visited, in a blue easy slumber. Shall return, some day.
Longing to Survive
Dec. 27 2009
Attached to the precipice of ancient stone, a small sliver of greenery longs to survive. I admire the sheer audacity of its eternal clinging-on. Here it is and here it remains. It is important that this happens.
Crafty Wonderland = Success!!
Dec. 18 2009
Thank you so much to the kind folks who came by my booth at Crafty Wonderland this past week. I had such a nice time meeting you and fielding questions regarding my work. The event was pretty spectacular; some 7,000 plus people swooped in and swooped around the 200 vendors at the convention center. I'd never done anything like that before and it was such an awesome experience. Hopefully I can do it again in the spring of 2010 during the next Crafty Wonderland Super Colossal Sale. For now, happy holidays!

New Digs in the Fifth Wheel
Dec. 01 2009
Just recently, a few days before Thanksgiving, my father drove all the way up to Portland from the far reaches of Southern California towing a rather large "fifth wheel" behind his aging truck. What was the purpose of this? To bring forth a mobile art studio. We had discussed the possibilities of this months ago and I actually didn't think it was going to be a reality. Well, it is here now and I am already spending time in there working on new projects. I think I'm going to like this thing.
